Cascade
Cascade Lake is one of southwestern Idaho’s most popular boating and fishing spots. This lake is perfect for the avid fisherman and Idaho Fish and Game keeps it stocked with rainbow trout, coho salmon, kokanee, smallmouth bass, bullhead & channel catfish and perch. There are excellent boat ramps and camping near the town of Cascade and on the west side of the lake south of Donnelly. Cascade Lake is a great place to take the family for a weekend picnic!
With more than 7,200 miles of groomed trails and an endless horizon of untracked powder, Idaho is snowmobile paradise. There are over 29 grooming programs located throughout the state of Idaho. Not only does McCall have over 500 miles of groomed snowmobile trails but Cascade is the gateway for over 800 miles of groomed snowmobile trails where all abilities will find their niche. Here you’ll find more groomed trails than any other western state set in some of the most spectacular scenery you’ve ever seen. Many of Idaho’s trails are interconnected allowing for virtually endless riding. There’s plenty of dry, untracked powder to be found and no shortage of breathtaking mountain vistas.
